THE CARS
Endurance events always present different classes of cars, providing manufacturers with options to adapt to the challenge within what represents the best philosophy in terms of business and in terms of production for the dissemination of their products and in technical terms aiming at the use of the event for the development of their platforms and ideals.
For the enthusiast, it's the opportunity to see all the excitement as cars of different designs, sizes, proportions, performance and speed meet on the track and share space for hours on end.
For drivers it is the opportunity to demonstrate all their skill and talent facing the challenge of taming the machines, making them last the entire race and surviving the chaos of disputes with cars of the same class and of different classes at the same time.
Not infrequently, on the contrary it is a rule, that there are incidents between classes and history has shown that not always the most technological, fastest or talented wins.
Endurance races present an extra tension and when the race is especially long the uncertainties and apprehension multiply.
For this reason, the 12h of Curitiba needs to be special. A race to honor our track and this great event that took place here needs to have a heavy grid.
With that in mind, we've gathered the best in cars available for the platform we've chosen.
Today the best cars for the Assetto Corsa simulator are produced by the renowned VRC and RSS studios.
There we find everything we need for our race to happen in line with what happened in real life.
We then defined a complete grid with all the classes that an endurance event needs based on LMP cars and GTs from the years 2002 to 2004, as well as Turismo from the years 1998 to 1999.
